Sorry, that was a typo – There is not a way to link packages and memberships inside GD, as that is not a feature of how GD works out of the box.

    HI

Does GD not link with Woo Commerce Memberships?
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/woocommerce-integration-query/

I have been messaging for some time explaining what i am trying to do and now I am told I cant do it, are you saying i need someone who can do code?

I have paid for GD, Woo Commerce Membership and many other plugins based on recommendations within support documentation and conversations. I am confused why the rules in the article above wont apply. The set ups in GD and WC reflect that memberships can be set up, restrictions put in place and log in details for each user reflecting access managed by restrictions of membership options paid for.

I really need some clarity here and I need to know how I can do this without paying more money at this stage and after all of the communication.

You can use WooCommerce to collect payments for GD listings. GD Listings are like special WP posts.

WooCommerce Memberships is for taking fees for users when they register.

Both are separate processes, WooCommerce Memberships is for user registration, GD is for adding content.

If you explain how you intend to monetize your site, how do you intend to collect fees and for what, then we can assist better.

I am not aware of where we have said that WooCommerce Memberships and GD work together, possibly you are confusing WooCommerce Memberships and WooCommerce?

    Thanks

So if I understand correctly, your free memberships can add listings but cannot see anything on the site.
Your paid members can add listings but have no restrictions.

So for GD there is no difference, all your members can add listings. Correct?

Then the next question is, do you want different levels of GD listings, or only one type of listing per CPT. If you only have one level of Place listing for example, you may not need the GD Pricing Manager, unless you want members to pay for each listing too.
If you want to charge a fee for GD listings, then you will need the GD Pricing Manager which you then can connect to WooCommerce [not WooCommerce Memberships].

How to restrict some members to access some pages, is a question for WooCommerce Memberships.
But if all members can add the same type of listings, then no restriction is required, because those pages are already restricted to users [all members are WP users].

Add your logins if you you have further questions.
In that case, also details a typical scenario of what you want a member to be able to do.

    Thanks

    I suggest:
    – delete all packages in each CTP
    – de-activate GD Pricing Manager
    – delete all GD packages in WC Products

Your content restrictions are set at WC > Memberships > Membership Plans > Edit > Restrict Content
You will need to seek support from WooCommerce with that.

    Thanks

Can I ask, why do I delete the packages in each CPT? I haven’t selected packages, but there is an option which was automatically created to select your package. see attachment. should i unselect so not active?

I will do the others now and contact WCM.

Then all should be good, wish I have got you earlier.

If I have any problems with GD I will let you know.

    Thank you
    Andrea

Just de-activate the GD Pricing Manager.
I thought you created the packages in the CPT, but possibly you created them in WC. Either way, you will not need any of them.

Let us know if you get stuck with GD.

    Thanks

sorry one more thing, do I delete the gd_place-package-1. Listings added at the moment are allocated to Package 1

I only have options for packages by numbers, other packages are 2, for gd events package and 4 gd grant funders package.

Do I leave these GD Packages?

You do not need any GD packages because you are not using packages.

I will go through the 777 that are uploaded and remove that selection.

Just de-activate the pricing manager and the option in the listings will disappear.
There is no need to edit every listing.
