Create 2 CPTs from the original

    Is there a way to create two different CPTs from the original one?

    I have just over 100 records in gd_place when I should have created 2 CPTs ie gd_chines and gd_indian. What is the easiest way?

    Hi Jay,

    You can just export everything and make the customization then import everything back. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/ . Let us know if it helps.

    I can import back into the same CPT, but how to import into another CPT?
    I do see a way to select another CPT to import the data into.

    Hello!

    You can set the post_type when you import.

    After you make your new CPTs, go ahead and do an export and you will see the column in the export CSV.
