On my homepage (http://isleofdog.co.uk), I have a category dropdown button at the top. This is great, but ideally I would like this initial dropdown to only display parent categories. I would then like another dropdown next to it to display child categories (but only once a parent category has been selected).

Is this possible and if so, how can I achieve it?

    Hello,

Sorry to disappoint you but we don’t offer a dependant drop down custom field.

I will take this idea up as a suggestion and put it in front of the developers to consider for the future. The developers always consider adding popular feature requests.

That’s fine.. I thought that might be a tricky one! Instead, is there an option to only show parent categories in that drop down?

Fab, thank you! That would be a really useful feature!!

Sorry to disappoint you, there isn’t an option for that either at this time.

No problem, but thanks for getting back to me! ☺️
