CSV file upload

    Hi,

    I’ve recently installed GeoDirectory and successfully tested the dummy data but am running into the same error “item(s) could not be added due to blank/invalid address(city, region, country, latitude, longitude).” I initially tried to upload an Excel CSV file, but have had this error multiple times since transferring over to an OpenOffice file as well. All of the cells have been filled out using the same format as the dummy data.

    Please help!

    Can you post your CSV file so we can have a look for you?
    Are all categories created already?
    Are all locations in your default location?

    Your CSV misses the post_id column. It needs the column although the entries should be blank when you import new listings.

    Hi Grace,

    did you add it as 1st column as it was in the sample file? Without multilocations add-on you can only import in the default location.

    If a location is out side the default location (according to google maps api data) it will be rejected.

    CSV import works if you follow the instructions provided. There are more than 5k website using it.
