“started today after wordpress update it wont let me import csv file to listings getting this error
Array( [error] => Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.)x”

I see a number of postings on this issue but see the replies as “Private”. I copied the issue from another post. Same problem. I’ve done csv imports on other GD sites with no issues. In fact, this attempt is a re-upload from another gd site I had downloaded the csv from. Just uploading to a new site.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Roger, install this plugin, it is a known issue.

Hi Roger, like Ron says:
this is a bug in WordPress version 4.7.2. Please install the plugin suggested by Ron as a temporary fix. More info here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/import-issue/#post-341940
