Custom Field for category advance search filtering

    Hi support team,

    I want to create a custom field to be used for category advance search. Therefore the search result should be filterable though all existing categories by using e.g. a checkbox. I want to use from 1st level till 3rd level of existing categories.

    How would you do that?

    Or can you give a suggestion in how to enable a category filter to filter the search result by categories?

    1. GD > Place Settings > Custom fields tab > Edit Category field > Include this field in filter > YES
    2. GD > Place Settings > Advance Search tab > click on “category” to move it to the right
    3. Now edit Category field by clicking to “open” it
    4. Choose CHECK as data field
    5. Fill in other things as required
    6. Save
