Custom field not searchable? (Search not working in custom field content)

    I have added a custom field, a textarea, that is to be used for additional service areas, as entered by zip code. I have added this field to the Advanced Search bar, but no matter what I put in there, it’s not working.

    I’m starting to suspect the search value isn’t being passed. When I look at the page header, it says You searched for “ ” even when I do put in text in the search field. (I’ll link to the page below in a private reply.)

    The first ‘search for’ field only search title/description/tags/categories. Are you entering the zip codes in one of those fields?

    If not then you will need to add your field to the advanced search options. Did you do that?
