Hi,
I’ve customized the look of the homepage map on the back-end using the Custom Maps Addon, saved these changes, refreshed the homepage and see no difference in the look of the map on the front-end. Perhaps there is something I’m missing, I’m hoping you can point me in the right direction. Thank you in advance for your help!

Your homepage was not a location page …August 4, 2015 at 11:25 pm #48148Thank you for your help Guust. I’m wondering if it would be possible to make the custom map that appears when you first visit clothingfactoryfinder.com be full width, as the one seen on the image attached. And also, right now the blog page appears to be set as the homepage (as one can tell from reading the breadcrumb) and I would like to have the page titled as ‘Homepage’ set as the static front page. I tried to do this by editing the Reading Settings but the changes don’t seem to reflect on the front end. I’m a bit confused as to whether this is actually possible to achieve as I didn’t quite understand your last message. Hope you could help me out! Thank you in advance.

I don’t think so, unless you change your themes template.
If you do not want the GD home/location to be the homepage of your website, then you cannot choose “latest posts” at the WP settings.
This is a bit Kleo specific I think, it uses the blog page if you set the GD home/location as your website homepage.
Suggestion: Create a normal page, then set that as homepage in the WP settings, and untick use GD home/location as homepage at GD > design > home.
Then add widgets and/or shortcodes to that homepage.
But do not use the Kleo setting to set the location page as the site’s homepage, it breaks the location pages.
I tried to set it up correctly for you but, you have a redirect somehow from http://www.clothingfactoryfinder.com/location to the homepage. Please check your htaccess file. I changed it to http://www.clothingfactoryfinder.com/locations for now, so it works.I do not understand how you got the map on the homepage … ?

Q: “I do not understand how you got the map on the homepage … ?”A: The way I got the fullwidth map on the homepage initially was by adding this shortcode:
[gd_homepage_map width=100% height=425px maptype=roadmap zoom=1 autozoom=true child_collapse=true scrollwheel=false marker_cluster=1]
into the header of the static homepage. The instructions appear in the Kleo documentation, I’ve attached an image of that particular section to this message. The only issue I have when using this method is that the map customization does not appear when using the shortcode. I don’t suppose there is any way to fix this right?
August 5, 2015 at 4:09 pm #48291Hi,
I don’t think the Custom google maps addon is capable to add styles to maps added via shortcodes.
I’ll ask to the devs to verify.
Thanks for your patience,

August 5, 2015 at 11:58 pm #48350Hi,
I’ve just realized that something is happening with the urls of the factory listings, this is the way they are appearing right now: http://www.clothingfactory/factories-1finder.com/factory/listing/. The urls of other custom post types seem to be working ok. I’m wondering what could be causing this to happen and what I can do to fix it. Thank you in advance for your help.August 6, 2015 at 12:21 am #48353Hi Paola,
another member reported this, unfortunately I’m not able to recreate, nor provide an immidiate fix. We will need the help of the devs who have all been alerted.
We’ll keep you posted.
Thanks

August 6, 2015 at 10:10 am #48380This issue has been fixed on your site, but i am not sure how you had your permlinks for locations set before please check them under GD>permalinks.
Thanks,
