    Hi there,

    we frequently publish posts on our website. Is it possible to show the review of an article more informative, I mean with the picture and an excerpt of the content? Please see first screenshot.

    Second, is there a way to hide the name of the publisher on the detail site of a post? Please see second screenshot.

    Regards
    Tobi

    Hi,

    I believe you are using the receont post widget that comes included with WordPress. You can use one of the hundreds of extended recent post plugin to replace that.

    You cannot hide the author with CSS without leaving the by at the end. You would remain with :

    You’d need to customize that template in your child theme to do a proper job. Are you suing a child theme?

    let us know,

    Thanks

    Hi,

    copy the folder post-formats and its 2 files from the parent theme into the child theme.

    Modify format.php to remove by and the author name.

    Thanks
