Customizing the home page

    I would like to put two widgets side by side above the map on the home page.

    1) In the GD Home Top Section, how do I place two widgets side by side? Does it require modifying the GD Home template?

    2) Are there any advantages to using the GD Home page instead of a custom home page, besides offering pre-designated areas for widgets? I ask because I can easily create the custom home page I want using SiteOrigin Pagebuilder, with a top row containing the two widgets side by side, and a row below it with the GD Map widget etc.. So is there any reason to try and work within the structure of the GD Home page vs. creating my own home page?

    Hi,

    1) only some extra css really

    2) there is no advantage, you can use a custom home too, but the location page in such case will look different from the home page.
