Data import question

    The following is the error message:
    “Total 999 item(s) found.
    1 / 999 item(s) could not be added due to blank/invalid address(city, region, country, latitude, longitude).
    999 / 999 item(s) could not be added due to blank title/invalid post type.”

    This is a small part of the data. In all there are over 250,000 rows. I have spent the entire two days sifting through and inputting lat/long.

    And then having to verify exact address… I do not know what to say right now.. “take up drinking?”

    IT would be nice the program would let me know “WHIch” items were invalid.

    Update. I found one error with the lat/long and fixed it and I forgot to input the column post_category.

    PRESTO! YIPPIE! That was the problem. Now onto the next 249,000… lol

    Kind regards, sorry to have started the ticket.. the eyes get tired staring at all the data and looking for errors..

    But now.. The default image is not working with Golf Course at http://whatshappeningtoday.com nor are the maps.

    I think you might have ticked golf courses not to be added to the maps at GD > design > map > show/hide
    And/or
    Your golf courses are not in a category, only some are: http://whatshappeningtoday.com/golf_course/golf-course/
    Did you add a default image at Golf Course > Golf course category?

    What does it mean? “Select category to untick by default on the home map.”

    In the GD/Map/ Show/Hide Post Type and Category on Map no items are checked (ticked)

    Under Custom Post Types gd_golf_course it has a default image. (see img)

    another pic. Ok.. now I get it.. I thought that they would inherit the parent category. Ok.. so now I will add category and “ypdate” existing golf course listings. Thank you.

    That the category choice in the map legend will be unticked.

    The category needs a default image to be used for the listings.
    The CPT default image is for the CPT widgets etc.
