Date format bugs

The Date custom field contains a number of bugs.

When I select 23-01-2017 as the format it sets and displays correctly, however on edit initialises as 01-23-2017 to trigger unix time.

We are on the latest release, including your plugins.

Can you please point me in the right direction for a resolution.

Could you please make sure that you’re using the latest version of the plugin? If the issue the persists, do you think you can share WP temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look?
