Thank you Kiran for correcting the recurring event post issue. I do not know if this current issue is associated or not.

Two event postings “The Last Life Boat” and “Jackson October Fest” on http://whatshappeningtoday.com are incorrect.

On the last life boat the user that posted the event sent me an email stating the date should have been 08/12/2016 recurring every Friday and Saturday evening from 8-10:30pm. The date presented in the site is 12/23/16.

Jackson Octoberfest date is suppose to be 09/17/16 and the date presented is 11/30/-0001

    please help.

    Kind regards,

Adding observation. I have time set to Los Angeles time. I am wondering if I should change this to some UTC time. ?

Next, Settings > General > Date Format is set to m/d/y but appears to be presenting itself as d/m/y

Is there another setting somewhere in GD that needs to be changed?

And, upcoming events issue too! This weekend there were changes made to prevent the recurring events from overwhelming the listing and limit them to one. Today we have another issue in addition to the dates. Recently posted events are not displaying in the upcoming events widget.

Hi Steve, please add URLs so we do not have to go and find things on your site, it can be time-consuming if you do not know in what CPT or location you need to look. Thanks.

I escalated to Kiran, he probably will need your admin and FTP details.

Kiran, this is where the dates are wrong:
    https://whatshappeningtoday.com/events/community-event/

Also, this event should display on the https://whatshappeningtoday.com/events/community-event/ page too but it is not there:

I will be sure to provide the url from this point forward. I guess I was shrinking from being scolded on a different forum where they did not want urls… I like providing urls it just makes sense and saves time as you mentioned. Thank you Guust.

    Hello,

I have update patch of fix via FTP, but can’t have a backend access so not able to check. It always redirects me to /profile/ when trying to access /wp-admin/.
To check date & time working, you need to backend and have to re-save the events which has date problem.

FYI: the events has different date settings which is available at Geodirectory -> Event Settings -> General -> Date Settings.

    Let us know.
    Thanks

You should just have to save these settings now: Geodirectory -> Event Settings -> General -> Date Settings.

    Did u try that?

The Event setting are attached. Do I have to go back and edit the event postings also?
