    Hello,

This not so much a bug, as it is a request for any workaround ideas.

Using shortcode including related_to=”default_category” to display some additional listings on an archive page.

If Listing 1 has two categories A and B, and Listing 2 has two categories B and C, when the shortcode is set with related_to=”default_category” it will show Listing 2 on Category A archives if both Listings had Category B as their default category – even though Listing 2 does NOT have category A at all.

Is there a way to call the display of only those listings in the category page being “rendered” not all the ones that have the same ‘default’ category.

    Thanks.

If they have the category, then they have the category. Also of note, if they have the child category, then they are listed with the parent category too.

I will flag your question for the developers in case they have a workaround, but these are GD specific handling for the archive category pages and it is pretty ‘built in’.
