define different listing options for custom fields

So here is my scenario: I’d like to add a custom field that shows as a tab on the details page of a place. I do not want the info to show up in all my listings (directories and search).

What I DO want is to build a single list that would display the business name, phone number and the info from the custom field.

Is there an option to display a custom field in a custom list using either PHO or forcing it into the [gd_popular_post_view] shortcode?

My hack now is to display it always, but hide via CSS,
