Description/Excerpt not displaying

    This isn’t displaying on the home page (where I’m using the popular posts shortcode with char set to 50) and the “profile” tab isn’t displaying on the detail page. Examples here:

    I’ve looked all over for a reason the description won’t display and can’t find one.

    Hi,

    in gd >> design >> detail >> Exclude selected tabs from detail page

    do you have any tab selected.

    For the excerpt problem I’d need to have a look at your settings.

    Hi,

    the Bare Bone price has description limit set to ZERO.

    That means no description.

    I’m not sure why the tab isn’t showing, probably because it is empty, but if that’s the case, then it is something recently added by the developers that I didn’t know about.

    Please remove the limit from the price and add a description to the listings.

    Yes that was it. I added the packages after I’d imported the dummy data, and didn’t realize that GeoDirectory reset all the existing places to the default package I’d set up, which as you pointed out, is set to display 0 characters. Thanks.
