Descritpion length in list View problem

Hi,

I search for this issue and saw in one of the threads that Vikas mentioned that you can’t control description in grid view.

I have since changed to list view for displaying our members and the description length where ‘read more’ starts is not consistent.

Is this something that will be changed in the future or do I have a something set wrong?

Hi,

In new updates the description length options have been provided in widget setting, so plz set it as per ur wish.
Description length is controlled by 3 parameters in hierarchical.
1. Option in widget setting
2. Geodirectory > Design > Listing tab > Description word limit
3. WordPress default excerpt lenght

so if 1st is not defined then 2nd is used and so on.

Please advise ?

Is it possible to limit the words for a basic listing yet create a featured
listing post-type without the word limit. I thought we were able to do this
in Geotheme ….but I may be wrong.
