Hi there,
One question to the detail page for a location (places).
The header / featured image size is 1400 x 788.How can I give my users an advice about the sizes before they upload a picture?
I know that there is the option to create a custom field, but I don’t know how I can insert the field over the upload-area, see attached. Or can I changed the yellow marked text? Thanks!

You can try changing the texts you highlighted in the screenshot using this translation method. https://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/translate-core/
Thanks!

HendrikAugust 27, 2018 at 7:27 pm #444235Hi,
One more question to the detail page.
I have several categories, most for some places. But also a category for “non-places”, like websites. How can I hide the tab “map” for entries only in this category?
Thank you!
August 28, 2018 at 1:45 am #444259Hi Hendrik,
Thanks for your reply. I think this can be done using custom CSS. Could you share the URL of the page in question so that I could check on it?
Thanks!

Using the custom CSS code below should review the “Map” tab from all “podcasts” categories. Is this what you’re looking for?
.gd_placecategory-podcasts [data-tab="#post_map"] {display:none!important};August 28, 2018 at 6:37 pm #444390Hi Kor,
It’s working perfect! Thank you again!

Thanks for your reply. I don’t see the code below being inserted into your Website. Please becareful with the “double apostrophe”. Copy the code below and paste it into GD > Design > Scripts > Custom Style CSS.
.gd_placecategory-media [data-tab="#post_map"] {display:none!important};Thanks!
