    Hi,
Is there a way to add a little text box to the right sidebar of all directory listings? I want to add a box under the phone number that says something along these lines, “Tell them you heard about them on Playing in Puddles”. I’m wanting to have this included on all directory listings so that people tell businesses they found out about them on my site.
And can I make it stand out from the rest of the sidebar? i.e. make it blue text or include my logo with it, etc?
    Thank you,
    Katie

    Hi Katie,

You can just insert a “Text Widget” into the “GD Detail Sidebar” and here is a screenshot for your reference http://prntscr.com/fxxk9a

    Many thanks Kor.
May I ask another query? I’m trying to sort my listings. I’ve made the default star rating. I would like the second default to be alphabetical, but instead it lists things in this order:
    star rating
    newest
    alphabetical.

    Can this be changed?
    Thank you
    Katie

    Hi Katie,

for which custom post type you are having issues with sorting options?

BTW, please open 1 topic for each subject. In this topic we should only discuss the detail page sidebar issue which has been resolved.

Now you are going to much off topic.

    Thanks

You can drag and drop the fields in sorting options to arrange them differently did you try that?

    Let us know,

    Thanks

Yes i did. I tried doing it a number of ways, but it didn’t seem to change the fact that the newest ones still seem to be favoured over alphabetical order.

I just change them and I see them changed???

Business name now it 1st option. If you want it to be default you need to check that option.
