Different fields for different categories. Pls help..

    Hi,
    With Geodirectory in WP, is there any way to make different custom listing fields for different categories? I will have two main groups of members and need to customize the listing fields for them accordingly. Thx a lot!

    If you make a package for each category, yes, you can have different fields available for each package (/category).

    To do that, make fields conditionally visible based on the category, you will need the Pricing Manager addon.

    Most members accomplish this with different CPTs, though. If you are not trying to sell listings, then the Custom Post Type addon enables the creation of as many different CPTs as you need. Each one is like a separate database, with as many fields as you want.

    But you can get there both ways.
