    My Theme is the Supreme Directory.
    I added the following plug-ins:
    1. The GeoDirectory

    Question:
    1. Do I need to add the Directory Starter?
    2. I ask because I have tried and it does not install.

    Hi,

    Directory Starter is the Parent theme, without that Supreme will be useless, being a child theme of Directory Starter.

    Directory Starter must be isntalled as a theme, not as a plugin.

    Now I am confused!

    I installed the Supreme Directory as a Theme and it looks good to me!

    Q 1: How can you have 2 active Themes? I tried making the Directory Starter the Theme but it then “deleted” the Supreme Theme>. ????

    An active child theme needs a de-activated parent theme. You have starter installed and therefore the active supreme child theme works.
    You do not have to create your own child theme if you use the supreme child theme.

    Q#1. So I activated Supreme Directory which is my “Active Child Theme”, did I do it right?

    Q#2: The Directory Starter Theme is installed but its “de-activated”, is this true?

    Q#3: Is my Supreme Directory now set-up correctly with the Directory Starter installed?

    Q#4: All is good to go?

    It is all correct.
    The best way to find out is to check if it works, and if it works it is all good to go 🙂

    Where are you located?

    Q#1: You say all is correct! You 100% sure?

    Q#2: You say “the best way to find out is to check if it works”. How do I know?

    I thought the Supreme Directory had been set-up properly as I was seeing it but I re-visited the “installation” and read that the Directory Starter had to be installed.

    If I had not re-visited it I would of thought all was well.

    You are sure all is now Ok?
    How do I know?

    Line 29 for example shows you are using supreme.

    2. supreme will not work without starter. Without starter you would not be able to activate supreme.

    Ok Gusst! I’m believing all is ok!!!!

    No Guust,
    I was referring to before I installed Starter!
    The only Theme I had installed was Supreme and it was “working”.

    My question is why was it “working” if I had not installed the Starter?

    If I remember correctly, I installed starter and supreme for you.
    Try deleting starter to see what happens. You’ll find your site will no longer work.
    If I recall correctly, you also have Avada and others installed – but not active.
