Disable Places on search form

I am only using custom post types and thus I am not using places at all.

How do I remove places from the GD search form? It is still there as an option in the first field of the search form.

Delete all “place” listings and hide places from the map at GD > design > map > SHOW / HIDE POST TYPE AND CATEGORY ON MAP
