Display Category Description

    Is there a way to get the category description to show on the search page results based on location? It currently shows on my category page results, but I would also like it to show when the user selects a category from the drop down on the home page and searches.

    The category description changes depending on the category the Listings page is asked to display.
    The search place displays listings from more than one category, so that is not possible.

    The drop down in the search are custom post types, not categories.
    You can add the GD>CPT Listings widget to Top section of the search page if you like. That will link to each of your CPT pages.
