display more than 5 categories per row – how ?

    i don’t think i’ll be using category icons so i’d like to diplay more than 5 categories per row on the homepage, perhaps 6 cats per row

    how can i adjust this? i so far haven’t found anything in the gd plugin settings

    Hi,

    There is no setting to do that, you will need to tweak css. If you provide a link where I can see them, I’ll provide the css.

    There will be no such option…

    You’ll have to adjust with CSS:

    example:

    

    .gd-cptcat-cat {
    font-size: 18px;
}
.gd-cptcat-ul.gd-cptcat-parent.gd-cpt-flat {
    min-width: 140px;
    width: 20%;

    If you don’t wont catgeory cat off, you shouldn’t be reducing their space.

    ah, thanks, i’ll keep playing with it
    

    is there a way perhaps to reduce all the empty spacing around the category titles?
    

    for example to reduce what looks like lots of padding (but i couldn’t find any padding settings in FF firebug)
    

    looking for a way to sorta reduce the overall spacing in the homepage category list, make it a more compact list so to speak

    You can set “auto” for both width and min-width of the css provided, however it will make it a very unordered list.

    oh, geez, okay
