Hi,
I am testing the new installation still and noticed that when adding a test listing, I received two emails to say that a post had been submitted. That is two notifications to the admin email and two notifications to my user email.I also noticed that since the package was a paid package, I did not receive an invoice email to the client email. There was a link to go straight to check-out. Is this how it is supposed to work. Do I have any alternatives? I would like the user to be taken straight to check-out. It seemed quite surprising to me when the listing just disappeared, even if there appeared a button for checkout after.
Thanks

I just checked my login logs and can see logins rejected for captcha.
Someone else in GD land might come across this one too. I had been wondering why on occasions my login re-directed me back to my home page and did not log me in.
I have lots of hacking attempts on my site. Those Russians, Koreans and Chinese are really a worry. Hoped the captcha is an extra deterrent if they happen to get the rest right.
January 26, 2019 at 11:52 pm #465600I cannot replicate that. I added a test listing as a subscriber and got one email saying my listing was published, and another one confirming my payment. That is how it should be.
Your UsersWP register page is not connected correctly at UsersWP > General > Register Page
Thanks
January 27, 2019 at 6:22 am #465616Ok, thanks for checking that and the registration page is fixed now.
I think I know what has happened then. I probably clicked the submit listing twice? There is a lag where nothing happens, which makes people like me click several times. Is it possible to make it have a progress bar similar to the Ninja contact form – or spinning wheel etc. to let people know that something is happening.
When you submit a new listing, you do get the check-out button next. This kind of works but is it possible to set it to go straight to payment and then directly publish upon successful payment.
However, when I only update a listing from the front end, I did not get a success message. Is that correct or am I struggling with something else there?
Cheers
LiseJanuary 27, 2019 at 12:58 pm #465638There is no email to the user for listing updates, only to admin.
A task has already been added to look at options to let people know the listing is being submitted.

I’ll get one of the developers to have a look at that question. Thanks
January 28, 2019 at 11:26 am #465757I have added a spinner to the save listing button and it will also be disabled so it can’t be clicked twice.
I will flag this topic for Paolo and we will discuss about going to checkout direct or maybe after X seconds.
Thanks,
Stiofan

Going straight to check-out makes sense if a user has picked a paid package. They would expect to pay right away. I want to make it easy and non-confusing.
I’m trying to put this site together and I thought that was surprising to get another button. So much so, I didn’t press it and then realised that I also did not get an email-invoice. I had to go back into my profile, find the listing and I think there was an invoice I could pay in my dashboard. Shouldn’t the payment submit the listing? Like when you order something on Amazon, the order does not go through until after payment.
January 30, 2019 at 12:53 pm #466179Hi Lise,
Auto redirect to checkout has been added and will be in the next release.
WPI and Woo work in slightly different ways, in both cases the listing is submitted but then WPI instantly created the order but Woo waits will after payment. WPI has the advantage that if u get a checkout abandonment WPI can automatically send reminders and all they have to do is pay the invoice to go live, but with woo you would have to edit the listing to get to checkout again.
Thanks,
Stiofan
