Dropdown list of predefined locations for location search

    Hi guys,

    Do you have any customisation done that you could share with me that would replace the Location Search Box (the one that autocompletes to In: that you type into) with a dropdown list of predefined locations?

    I did this in my GDV1 website (www.childcarefinder.ie) but I can not get the customisation to work in my GD V2 test site before going live…. if it’s something that you have code for I would appreciate the help.

    We do not have a snippet for that. You can hand code the list as menu items, that is one way to go about it.

    Thanks Alex,

    If I did that – What could I do with that list menu? Not sure I am seeing where you are going with that so hopefully you can give me a steer.

    Second question – if I was to do some code customisations… is listing-filter-form.php used any more? Seems to not be called, even though it is shipped with V2

    Many members have found having a list of the most popular location pages in a menu to be sufficient.

    Did you want to post the code you were using before?
