Hello, I have a place owner who updated their listing today and it made a new listing altogether. What would cause this?

To clarify – and I just went onto the site and found the same issue happening …

I have a restaurant owner that claimed their listing, then they went in to edit the listing, it allowed them to do this, but it created a duplicate listing instead of updating.

I have also noticed the edit listing page is the “Add Listing” page…

    HELP! 🙁

    Hi Ashley,

Please provide wp-admin details in a private reply (only staff can see) and let us know how to recreate it and we will take a look.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

To recreate it, claim a listing or edit a listing, then save the edit, and it makes a new listing instead of updating. It does this with the place owners, have not tested it as admin ( I believe admin side is working and it’s just the place owners which are having this issue)

I apologize, so it’s working on the backend but the front end creates a new listing when trying to edit a listing.

There were a few problems, the add listing page was a sub page, it has to be a main page and also u had the add listing shortcode on it, it is not needed if you have selected the page from GD settings.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
