Edit Page "View Place" link has "%gd_place%" Instead of URL

Whenever I’m adding or editing a location from the Admin interface, the button that says “View Place” at the end of the URL doesn’t link to the proper URL. For instance, this is the URL, copied from the “Permalink” area:

http://www.kjvchurches.com/churches/united-states/south-dakota/custer/mountainview-baptist-church/ ‎

But when you try to click the “View Place” button, this is what happens:

http://www.kjvchurches.com/churches/united-states/south-dakota/custer/%gd_place%/

Any idea what might be causing this?
