    Hello
    I am having some email issues. I hope I am not combining different issues into the same ticket. If so, I will redo.

    First when I do a test registration, it works great and the listing is posted. The problem is that the admin email account receives 9 notices of the new listing. One of them has the user name and email and the other 8 are just blank notifications.

    Secondly, the test account that added the listing from the front end receives the email showing the User Name and a link to change the password. They never get the notification that the listing is pending approval.

    Is there a way for the user to create their password on the create listing function on the front end? It is confusing to get the email with the change password link that takes them back to a WP login. Thank you

    Hi Joe,

    Thanks for your post. Let’s fix this one at the time. To troubleshoot the email issue, could you install the “Email Log” plugin and do another test run? It should display how the emails are being sent. Furthermore, if possible, share your WP admin access here in private reply and we’ll check on it.

    Thanks for your reply. I’ve deactivated the WP SMTP plugin and it seems to work fine now. Could you please give it another try?

    Hello Kor
    It looks like you found what was causing that but now the problem is that my site sends out emails but they are blocked by gmail.

    I needed to add that SMTP plug in due to the fact that my WordPress site would send out the emails but they would never get to the destination. Once I installed WP SMTP and had the credentials verified through Google, it all worked fine. Do you know what your other users are doing to allow their WordPress sites to send to a gmail account?

    If it is activated, it works great for the contact forms. The only time we get the duplicate messages is when GD sends an email. Are there some settings in GD that i could have wrong?

    I turned off the plug in that you mentioned and I am still getting 9 or 10 duplicates on every new entry.

    I have changed the setting at my host back to the initial settings and activated the SMTP plug in so we are back to where we started. I do a “contact us” test and it works great. I add a listing and I get the invoice, notice of pending listing and 7 new user registration with the content blank. I can live with this for a while.

    What is not happening is the outgoing email to the user stating that their listing is pending review.

    When I approve the listing, the “Your listing has been published” email goes to me as the admin and not to the user that submitted the listing.

    I just tested registration and adding a listing and it seems to be sending the right emails.

    There are other WP SMTP plugins, I recommend you try a different one of the issue comes back.

    Thank you so much guys. Alex, I assume you logged on as the admin and approved the listing. I will do a test this afternoon from my end and share the results. GD is such a great tool. The support you offer is unbelievable.

    Here is the strange part. Alex, yours worked perfectly. I go to Firefox and try to add a test listing. It takes my listing and says complete. I never get the user email stating that my listing is pending (Alex got his) it does not show up in the sent email log. When Alex registered, the emails all went out and showed in the log.

    When I just did the test, the user email regarding the pending listing never posted in the email logs and I then get 9 emails to admin stating that I have a new registration for this user.

    I thought is was a gmail thing but it obviously is not since Alex used gmail. This has me baffled.

    Could it be because all of my email accounts are ties together on Google
