Email List

So we’re just getting into the Geodirectory theme. We are a local Community Business Revitalization Zone Group (not for profit) that promotes our local businesses and coordinates area events, pays PR for the area etc. We have over 250 businesses in our listing page and I’m looking for some help.

We’d like to be able to edit a mailing list and have information either get added to GeoDirectory or vice versa. Not necessarily both ways, I just want it to be edited in one location. Logic kind of says due to all the fields in GeoDirectory it would make sense to update GeoDirectory and then I’d like it to update an external emailing list (could be constant contact/mailchimp or maybe GeoDirectory has something?).

My “scope” calls for Robust, sortable, editable, searchable member database that manages directory, emails and newsletters (ability to add fields & notes) Include: twitter, FB and instagram links for each member

Then the next level item is:
Member’s Area Sign-in required, automated username/password management
– Board meeting minutes
– AGM/year in review
– member updates
– newsletters

I’m looking for something that would integrate well with Geodirectory as I already have my list there. Thanks in advance!
