My directory is behind a paywall and I need to show the email address. How can I replace the ‘send enquiry’ option?

You can add an email custom field to replace the default custom field.
    Thanks

What do I do if I have all my records in already?

Export the listings, move the content of the geodir_email column to your new column, and re-import.
    Thanks.

We have 40K records. Is there any other way?

That’s for sure the fastest way. Editing 1 or 40k rows in a CSV file can be done with ctrl+c & ctrl+v in one single operation.

    Thanks

Thank you. Just to confirm… I export, edit, delete all records in GD, and import the new csv files?

    Thanks!

You export, edit, OVERWRITE [DO NOT DELETE] all records in GD by importing the new csv files: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/

Leave the Post IDs in the first column and select “Update listing if post with post_id already exists.” on import.
Break the import file into batches and start small, and increase the import file size.

    Thanks

My dev is not super experienced 🙁 and our old data is nothing special, anyway. I think it’s easiest to just delete that CPT and start over.

What’s the best way to do that?

    Thank you!

Go to GD > Custom Post Types > and delete the CPT.
But you cannot delete the default Places CPT.

    Thanks

I would like to re-add the CPT and the function to delete the records is not working. They’re still in the DB. There are over 100K records in this CPT.

How can I delete them directly in PHPMyadmin? CPT is gd_podcast. Obviously, I can just delete WHERE

    post_type

LIKE ‘gd_podcast’. Are there dependent tables that also need deleting records beyond wp_posts? Just trying to keep my DB clean.

Let’s start with your URL and WP admin details in a private reply, to see if we can fix it from there.
If we cannot we will need PHPmyAdmin details too.

    Thanks
