    Hi, I get a lot of 404 errors either because of deleted listings or because other CPT, is it possible to have it return a 401 vs. a 404?. Does many 404 errors affect SEO?.

    Hi,

    that’s not possible, if you delete a listing that Google Indexed, you will get a 404 page.

    Yes it can affect SEO and you should redirect the old URL towards the new URLs with a 301 redirect.

    Do you have any plug in recommendation for 404 redirect ?

    I have tried to use 404 plug in redirection but

    When i went to my account page, it redirected me to the homepage.. which is not correct

    it should go to ./members/my-username/settings/

    I’m sorry, but I’ve never used nor tested any of the plugins available for 404 redirects.
