    “Error determining where geodirectory is installed”

    What does this signify. I move and started from the beginning the entire site. It is running at a very good speed.

    At certain times with certain plugins being installed I get the error. I have been just refreshing the page and the plugin installs and works perfectly.

    Now, I have purchased the Afillate WP bundle and one or two of the plugs are not and will not install. I am going to run the conflict test and check the error logs too.

    But, if you already know what the error code signifies that would be great to know.

    Also, have not “Networked Activated” the plugs because it seems to be a load on all sites and I am not using it on all sites. That having been said “Should I activate the main gd plugin or no?”

    Oh, I did install the wpconfig define( ‘AFFILIATE_WP_NETWORK_WIDE’, true );

    “Error determining where geodirectory is installed” means the system can’t find the core plugin because it’s not activated.
    It is correct not to network activate GD addons.
    Thanks

    Hello again. Just a little followup. The core is installed. Pics attached.

    I “did” get the Affiliate WP plugin to install but… I also got the same error.

    I had to “refresh” at the error message prompt to get the Affiliate WP plugin to install (same as with most of the others) but it did install.

    Speed of site is great now since new install..

    Just wanted to share. All is fine except for the message that pops up. pics attached.

    Yes, at a guestamated 4x the speed by going multisite. Varoom varoom! Also, it helped in setting up the new install to begin with https meaning… in the first steps I installed the SSL cert and setup pages as https instead of having to install a plugin to change and redirect from http to https.

    Thank you for your support. Greatly appreciated Guust.
