    Hi all,

Its been noticed that when searching for a listing of the listing prompt (shows all categories and listing names) drop down is still catching up then there is almost certainly the error message however if you wait for the listing prompt to finish then there doesn’t seem to be an error message.

Is there a way I can disable the listing prompt to test if this is causing the issue?

Sure, you can disable autocomplete in the settings.

    Thanks Alex,

Is it also possible to disable the catagory prompt on the listing search box?

It disables both, the search autocomplete setting.

    Hello,

The warning message in ur logs happens when a user tried to geolocate themselfs but it fails and goes to a manual location, it tries to ping that site to get generallocation for the IP but your hosting has the function used disabled, i have added a check for it so it won’t produce a warning in future if disabled by the host.

The logins no longer seem to work so i can’t check anything else, but i was reading up on things a but and think it might be related to the DB version, if you can provide working logins i can do some tests or you can ask your host to update to latest SQL version.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    HI Stiofan,

Just to let you know the “error connecting to database” issue has now stopped.
I disabled the autocomplete setting for both search boxes and doesn’t happen any more.

I also spoke to my host and they advised that i am on the latest version of SQL so not sure if you made any progress with any checks on performance?

    Thanks
