Error: CSV upload does not work

Got it,

Alright – getting close but surfacing more issues.

1.) I tried exporting this list, so I can understand which format we need to prepare our CSV in. However, even though I changed the ID and title of the table, when I try to re-import, I continue to get the message “ignored because these listings already exist,” no matter what I change the content to.

2.) Some of the outputs (from the exported CSV) are not in plain English that I would be able to communicate to my content team. For example, in the category table, instead of “gaming” it reads – “,5,”

Can you help me with these two issues?

1. If importing NEW listings, do NOT use a post IDs, WordPress needs to assign these themselves.
Only use LibreOffice or OpenOffice.

2. You need to use the category IDs, so give your team the list of IDs.

Hello guys,

Thank you so much for all of your help up until this point. I really appreciate it. One last question on this thread.

Are you aware of any special characters that *should not* be
included in the imported CSV (for bulk import / export) or ones that need to be rendered
differently?

No, but they are easy to see if you open the file with Libre or Open office and choose UTF-8 encoding you may see a character that looks like a ? inside a diamond.
