Error in French translation

    Hi Guys and congratulations for the beautiful work you have done!
    I just love your Geodirectory plugin and addons!

    I use it on http://www.toutwaterloo.be (yes i know, shared windows server thank you :-)…)

    Using the French translation i found an error, see the attachment, under “write a review” (which is not translated by the way) there is “demande de renseignments”, the right word is “renseignements”

    Is it possible for you guys to correct it please?

    Hi Pat,

    As far as i know GD ships only with English language.
    Please refer this page for editing translation files.

    Hi Pat,

    You do have paid membership. So we are treating you like any other GD member. If you look at our support replies for other translation related threads, 99% of time you can see we link to the doc page.

    This is because we release updates often for our plugins and its not possible to translate our plugins in every update.

    Translating our plugins is a easy process.

    All you have to do is download poedit, open the french translation file in poedit, fix the string, save it and then upload it to your server.

    Sometimes support means assisting and pointing you in the right direction, instead of doing everything by ourselves.

    Thanks for your help, i understand in a better way the scope of your support now, just wanted to highlight and find how it could be resolved, you did it as beautifully as your scripts works 🙂

    Dear Stiofan, i can see the wrong word in your link so i’ll guess it is the right one then “renseignments” should be “renseignements”.

    Click the export link in the bottom of this page and then overwrite your old french translation file with this one.

    Not just for few corrections, we require at least 2k string translations for that.

    Please do not change file name on the system, that can be fr_FR or be_FR. It’s better if each user change it locally according to their needs.
