    Hi,

    Getting error message where ‘Popular Post Category’ widget should be since latest update – Message is
    Warning: Illegal offset type in isset or empty in /home/leapinghare/public_html/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 237

    Do I just add error_reporting(E_ERROR); to the functions file or do I need anything extra? And if that gets rid of the warning will the widget then function correctly?

    I don’t see exactly what would cause the error, can you provide FTP and i will debug it?

    In 4.5.0 they changed the args of get terms to accept an array https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/get_terms/

    If you can’t update for some reason i can add a check for that.
