Error updating geo extension plugins on staging site

    I’m developing a new site using the staging-> copy to live site method.
    The geo plugins are registered on live site and now i’m unable to update the plugins on the staging site due to license restriction (error unauthorized).
    If i buy a second license for the staging site, what happens when i copy the staging site to the live site? Do i need to reconfirm the live site license key for each plugin?
