Error when submitting reviews

A user submitted this screenshot to me yesterday. They claimed that they were submitting a review for a place, selected the review rating and typed their description, then clicked submit and were presented with the following error message.

you are the second person reporting this today, on the other website I couldn’t recrate it.

Question, was the user logged in or reviewing as a guest?

The user was logged in with an account. After reading this, I gave it a shot as a guest and it threw up a whole slew of errors as well

Actually that brings me to another related question. Can I disable people leaving reviews as a guest?

yes you can, in Settings >> Discussion >> Users must be registered and logged in to comment

Vikas is looking into it. Very strange case, I wasn’t able to recreate this so far…

It was explained to me by the user that all they did was log in, attempt to submit a review with a rating, and click submit. it then threw up this error.

The second post was from submitting a comment as a guest, but I have since disabled it on my site.

Same here, I’ve tried reviewing on the site of the other user and never was I able to reproduce the error.

Where you actually able to see the problem or only your user did?

Only the user. They emailed me this snapshot with the explanation that they just logged in and tried to submit a review.

We can’t really fix what we can’t recreate, we’ll keep an eye on this issue to see if someone else report something similar and can give us more details…
