Escape characters in "Send enquiry" email

    I tested sending a listing owner a “Send enquiry” email using the button on their listing. The email got sent OK, however there is a small problem. Apostrophes are being given an escape character (a backslash). The email looks like this:

    I’m currently looking at your listing on Reiki Connect – it’s looking very nice! I really like the photo. This email is just to check that the ‘send enquiry’ button is working.

    Just in case this forum strips out the escape characters, there is a backslash before every apostrophe.

    Anyone who knows about programming will see what’s going on there, but most users might be confused by the escape characters. In any case, it looks ugly.

    Is this a problem with my configuration or a bug?

    I just tested this and I get the same on my test site.
    I’ll alert Paolo to have a look at this.
