Event Category Grid or Listing image only

    Is there a widget that can go into the home page “top section” that would display different events with limited information such as

    1. Event Category
    2. Event Date
    3. Event time

    The visual would be similar to the CPT listing layout on WhatsHappeningToday.com. If you view the CPT Business listing they are a grid.

    Just to be clear… in the widget above that CPT listing widget are events. I cannot figure out how to have the Events “Categories” display just like the CPT business listing.

    Basically just an image with a Category title would suffice.

    The “Business listings” are not listings, but is a list of your CPTs using the CPT categories widget.

    To display a list of events, with only category and date and time showing, use the Popular Post View widget and hide all things you don’t want like photos with CSS.

    I am sorry. I did not present my request well. “I do want” an image grid of only images of current events.

    no there is no such widget, you’d need to customize the current widget.

    I do have a solution not using the gd-widget. But instead I will use an ad plugin and geolocate the ad to the listings. Lots of work.
