Event Date in Popular Post View widget

How can I display the events date in the “Popular Post View” widget when placed in GD Home Content Section?
This seems like a must have for events listed on the home page.
I understand this may not be possible in the admin area but where is the code base that controls what fields are displayed there?

Hi,

there is a different widgets for events.

GD > Event Listing.
