Events and Places not syncing up with clicks

I’ve set up a site at http://healingourplanet.org/
The GeoDirectory stuff can be accessed via the Directory button on the menu bar.
Places were renamed to Organizations.

Clicking on Directory (gd-home) only shows the Organizations in both the map and the listing. Is it possible to get both the organizations and the events to show initially? I noticed also that the header on the listing section says “Places” even though I renamed it to “Organizations” in the settings.

Clicking on Events on the map shows the Events on the map appropriately, but the listing section below it still shows Organizations. Is it possible to get the two to sync? In other words, if I click Events on the map, can I make it so that the listing below the map also shows Events?

If I mouse over Directory and then select Organizations from the menu, the map does not show on the page. But the header on the listing is correct.

Similar happens when I click on Events. No map.
