I think a possible refinement for the Event listings could be to remove the address to save the lister having to fill this out, as this seems to be a duplication as there are ‘Venue’ and ‘Location’ fields that serve the purpose.
I don’t believe it’s possible to remove the requirement to add an address but leave the map coordinates to allow the map marker to show. But I think this area could be refined to help reduce the time taken to add a listing. The quicker and easier it is the more we stand to get published by users.
On a side note I find that when completing a listings details the address and map features are a little awkward. For example, if I enter a full address and then try to place the map marker, what happens is that the address, is often changed as, as soon as I touch the map to place the marker it updates the address and I end up having to then fix the address. So is it possible to detach the address from the map coordinates so one does not override the other?
