events vs- places (confuse)

Hi GEO team,
I have some questions about “events vs. places”, and how to set up my page…:
let’s say that I have created an event called “Tiramisú vs Carbonara”, and also a place for that in “Italy”. The event will be visible for only 5 hours in one day.
I want that another user can see this event in the map, then can create another place for the same event, maybe in the same city, or another city or country. Then this new “place” will shows in the map.
How to do that with your plugin: I have full license of all GEO addons, but I can nor figure out how to manage that.
I read the document about how to link event and places, but without succes 🙂
Can you help me?
