excerpts not working

    when i set except word limit it does nothing to front end of site…
    the excerpts are really long – any solutions?

    Most excerpts are set in the widget.

    not understanding – this is on default home page – i set except in settings under design – are you saying that some other setting is overriding it cause i haven’t set it anywhere else?

    Hi,

    there is no excerpt setting in GeoDirectory >> Design >> Home.

    Home is created via widgets. Please go to :

    Appearance >> Widgets and set excerpt in GD > Popular Post View, where it says:

    Post Content excerpt character count :
