My customer has member and non member categories. Is it possible to exclude the non members from all searches?

    Hi Benny,

Sorry, I’m not sure if I’m getting this. Could you show us some examples?

    Thanks!

    Hello!

That would be a customization, to modify the search results for the purpose of excluding listings. There are settings for adjusting the ordering/priority of results based on pre-defined or even custom fields, but not for excluding in search.

In the case of ‘member’ directories, with access control, one thing you can do is group the free listings with specific categories (associated with packages) and then be sure that your widgets on the home and listing page then exclude those categories.

In the past members have done a variety of customizations to search and some have posted results to the forum. Please do take a look around. If you start working on a customization you can share your results back here and we will do our best to point you in the right direction
