I got an expired ad still on the listing
How to fix this issue?

Are your settings for the price package set to “Expire”?

Was the listing added from the frontend? If not, then expiry don’t usually work.

By the way, I backwards the publish date to make it expire earlier.

Is it the reason?

Yes, that would be the reason, you need to add the listing from /add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place and let the system do its job.
