    Hi,

    If an external link is inserted into a description field it does not have a nofollow tag

    Although the website and social fields links are nofollow.

    Is there a way to prevent links being submitted in text fields? How do your clients address this issue.

    Also, does akismet work with GD description and custom fields?

    Of course, i will be using recaptcha, but even for humans to insert multiple links, is the a good solution?

    Akismet support would be a custom integration; by default it is for comments.

    Additional code customization would be required to further control the content allowed in the post description field, something like this as a snippet: https://www.isitwp.com/nofollow-external-links-only-the_content-and-the_excerpt/
