I read the V1 to V2 upgrade document and follow instructions to upgrade from V1 to V2. I had converted on of my directories a few months ago and it worked fine. This was the second directory that I need to convert to V2 as well.
But I stuck now with the following error message:

Fatal error: Class ‘GeoDir_Defaults’ not found in /home3/partycoo/public_html/hirehomeservice/wp-content/plugins/geodir_ajax_duplicate_alert/includes/class-ajax-duplicate-alert-defaults.php on line 17

So I deactivated all the GeoDirectory Pluging and upgraded to GeoDir V2, but in the process it said that I needed to update my plugins.

I was not able to update my plugins because my plugins license were not up to date. No where in the documentation does it say to make sure your plugin license keys are up to date.
I was able to update the license key for a few plugins but not for the rest so I was not able to update all my plugins.

There was a button that said to revert back to V1. So I clicked on that to go back to V1. I figure I could update the licence keys in V1 and then install V2 again. But in the process of going back to V1 I get a popup windows that said
“Fatal error: Class ‘GeoDir_Defaults’ not found in /home3/partycoo/public_html/hirehomeservice/wp-content/plugins/geodir_ajax_duplicate_alert/includes/class-ajax-duplicate-alert-defaults.php on line 17”

and now my website is completely an accessible. I think the problem maybe because some of the GeoDirectory plugins were update but not others. I even remove a couple GeoDirectory plugins and thought I would add then later because I was not able to update because of the wrong license keys that I was not able to change while installing V2.

Can you please help to see if you can help me finish the transition to V2 or restore back to V1?

Will send you access in private massage.

Please restore the backup you made before the conversion. It is not possible to revert after the conversion has been run except with restoring to a backup. If you did not have all your plugins updated during the conversion then restoring and running the conversion with all required plugins is the best way to proceed.

    Thanks,
That worked. I just restored my website and updated the GeoDirectory license key for doing the process again.

    Excellent.

When you are ready to try again, check https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/upgrade-from-gdv1/
